About Puaʻāinahau
Puaʻāinahau Foundation, Inc. strives to accurately convey the Native Hawaiian Culture to Hawaiʻi and the worldwide community through the knowledge, practices and usage of Hawaiian language, Hawaiian history, Hawaiian genealogy, Hawaiian protocol, Hawaiian chants, Hawaiian dance, and other Native Hawaiian practices, and increase the awareness and understanding of Hawaiian culture, language, and the arts among it’s people and the general public.
We do this through perpetuating the teachings of cultural practitioners, beginning with our beloved kumu, whom we honor here:
